Job Description:

The Material Handler's primary role is to prepare, process, and transport merchandise efficiently and accurately while adhering to established production rates, standards, and guidelines. Departments will cross-train employees to meet business and operational needs. The given requirements reflect the duties that employees may carry out, and additional tasks may be assigned. Fundamental Job Functions:

• Undertake the acceptance and management of stock, encompassing the identification, wrapping, arrangement, and consignment of orders and refunds, as well as the loading and unloading of trailers conforming to standard company and industry procedures.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following all company, state, and local safety regulations, as well as OSHA laws, and reporting any potential infractions to your supervisor or manager without hesitation.
• To generate a report, one must first compile and organize relevant data.
• Abide by the company's rules, guidelines, procedures and protocols, which encompass various standards relating to precision and productivity.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining effective communication with vendors and colleagues from various locations, resolving disputes amicably and overseeing compliance reviews.
• Follow the attendance rules laid down by the company and comply with the dress code standards that have been put in place.
• Move and process merchandise products with efficiency and security while adhering to industry standards and guidelines within the predetermined production rate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Capacity to work in a surroundings that involves climbing stairs to reach different levels.
• Being able to endure being in an upright position and/or ambulate for the full duration of the designated work shift, which lasts for at least 12 hours.
• The capacity to work overtime as required to meet the ups and downs of the business, which may result in an extended shift beyond 12 hours.
• Proficiency to regularly execute actions like squats, stoops, kneels, crouches, bends, twists, reaches, lifts, pushes, and pulls.
• This position necessitates the strength to frequently transfer articles that weigh up to 30 lbs. and the ability to occasionally manage objects weighing up to 50 lbs. unsupervised. Objects exceeding that weight constraint must be lifted by two persons.
• The ability to wear protective equipment like face masks.
