At Kohl's, the Forklift Operator role is of great importance. Operating the forklift to move, relocate, stack and count merchandise with immense care, you'll be part of a dedicated team ensuring the smooth operations of the warehouse, supporting the timely replenishment of store inventory and providing efficient management of all goods handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift in order to relocate materials throughout the warehouse.
• Provide support in loading and unloading cargo from delivery vehicles.
• The secure handling of packages requires attention to detail and adherence to established protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of damage or theft.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify slow-moving items and adjust your stock levels as needed.
• Consistent maintenance checks on the forklift are necessary to ensure that it meets safety and operational requirements.
• Abide by established safety procedures and guidelines to prevent any untoward accidents or harm.
• Partner with the workforce of the warehouse to fulfill productivity objectives.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must have obtained a diploma from a secondary school or its similar credential.
• Accreditation for skilled forklift operation.
• During my previous employment, I worked as a forklift operator in a warehouse.
• Aptitude for moving and carrying heavy loads.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols are non-negotiables.
• Top-notch communication and collaboration proficiencies are mandatory components of a productive and efficient team.
